Beef Share Finder ("we," "us") is run by Drop Group, LLC, a Michigan limited liability company. This policy covers beefsharefinder.pages.dev and any site we run under the Beef Share Finder name (the "Site").
The short version
- We collect very little: your email address if you sign up for the newsletter, whatever you send us when you email us, and basic visit statistics.
- We don't sell your personal information or share it for targeted advertising.
- You can unsubscribe at any time from any email.
What we collect and why
| What | When | Why | Who else handles it |
|---|---|---|---|
| Email address | You sign up for the newsletter | To send the newsletter you asked for. Kit first emails you a link to confirm your signup (double opt-in) | Kit (our email provider), which stores the list and sends the emails for us |
| Your message and email address | You email us a question, a correction or a listing request | To answer you and fix listings | Our email provider |
| Visit statistics (pages viewed, referring site, browser type, approximate country) | You visit the Site | To understand which pages are useful | Cloudflare Web Analytics, which says it doesn't use cookies or fingerprinting to track individuals |
| Server logs (such as IP address and pages requested) | You visit the Site | To deliver and secure the Site | Cloudflare (our host) |
We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13, and the Site isn't directed to them.
Farm information
Farm listings come from each farm's own public website, with the date we checked it. If you run a listed farm, you can ask us to correct your listing or remove it: email dropgroupllc@gmail.com. We'll act on your request promptly.
How long we keep it
- Newsletter subscribers: until you unsubscribe. After that we keep only what we need to make sure we don't email you again.
- Emails you send us: for as long as we need them to handle your request and keep reasonable business records.
Your choices and rights
- Unsubscribe: use the link in any newsletter. We honor opt-outs within 10 business days.
- Access, correction or deletion: email dropgroupllc@gmail.com and we'll respond within 30 days. Depending on where you live, state law may give you more rights. We'll honor those requests as the law requires.
- "Do Not Track": we don't track you across other sites, so we don't respond differently to Do Not Track signals.
Security
We use reputable providers and keep the information we hold to a minimum. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date above. If we make a material change, we'll say so on the Site or in the newsletter.
