About Beef Share Finder

Beef Share Finder is a guide and directory for people buying beef direct from farms by the quarter, half or whole. We started with Florida and added Michigan in October 2026. The site is run by Drop Group, LLC.

How we build listings

1. We find farms and ranches in each state we cover (Florida and Michigan) that sell beef shares, then read the farm's own website.
2. We record only what the farm states: share sizes, posted prices (with the date we saw them), price basis (live, hanging or packaged weight, or flat), whether processing is included, processor, deposit, and pickup or delivery.
3. Anything the farm doesn't state is marked unknown.
4. We list business locations (city and county) only.
5. We re-check listings and date every check.

What we don't do

• We don't give health, nutrition, medical or legal advice, and we don't rate farms.
• We aren't affiliated with any listed farm, and no farm has paid to be listed.
• We don't sell your data. The newsletter isn't live yet.

Advertising and featured listings

We may later offer clearly labeled featured listings and newsletter sponsorships to farms and related businesses. Paid placement won't change any farm's listed facts.
